  • Art Activity: Watercolor painting of mountains.
  • Objective: Explore the characteristics of healthy friendships while students work to create the layers of their mountain painting. The drying time provides an opportunity for group discussion on what makes a good friend and how to set expectations in friendships.

Part 1 of a 4 Part Series, Empowering Healthy Relationships through Art presented by SafeHouse. This program uses art-based activities to help students explore and understand key concepts around healthy relationships, boundaries, digital safety, and self-expression.

Program is open to rising 6th graders through 12th grade.
