From Fort Payne, AL, author Neal Wooten visits for a book signing and presentation on his life and works.

Author Neal Wooten grew up on a pig farm on Sand Mountain. He has had 29 books published and will discuss his memoir, With the Devil’s Help (Pegasus Crime/Simon and Schuster). A producer in LA is working to make it into a ten-part scripted miniseries. He will also talk about his novel, Granny Dollar, which is being made into a documentary for APT. He will have copies of both titles on hand.

Neal will also touch upon his nearly four decades performing standup comedy. He headlined comedy clubs all over the country, had his own TV show, was on an HBO special, and was in a movie with Danny Trejo.

He is also the creator of Pancho el Pit Bull, now considered the most popular cartoon in South America. He signed a 12-book deal with Editorial Planeta and seven books have been released. It is going global this year beginning in Mexico and Spain. A production company is making it into an animated series.
